Rick Peterson
Rick Peterson, 56, is a Vancouver-based investment banker with more than 20 years experience in senior levels of the Canadian capital markets. He has a BA in political science from the University of Alberta, and is diplomé from the Instut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. He was a former journalist and editorial writer with the Edmonton Journal, and was a Paris-based contributor on European political and economic affairs for Southam News. Rick is founder of The Burgundy Luncheon Club www.burgundyluncheonclub.com, a very popular Vancouver-based salon discussion series which has featured many prominent Canadian policy leaders and thinkers, including MLI’s Brian Lee Crowley. Rick has significant experience in policy, organizational, fundraising and election roles at the federal, provincial and municipal political levels in Vancouver. He is fluently bilingual, and is involved in supporting a number of charitable groups and activities in Vancouver, with a special interest and focus on helping inner city aboriginal youth living in East Vancouver.
