MLI Research Advisory Board Member, Patrick James, has been chosen by his peers to serve as the President of the prestigious International Council for Canadian Studies (ICCS). Congratulations, Patrick… from the entire MLI Family!

The ICCS is a federation of 21 national and multi-national Canadian Studies associations and 6 associate members in 39 countries. The organisation links more than 7,000 individual academics and researchers worldwide who directly reach more than 150,000 students of Canada and its role, past and present, in the global community. This direct contact is in addition to the publication of hundreds of articles, books and other publications touching on the Canadian experience, which are available to all. It is the global hub for “Canadianists”.

Dr. James, a Canadian citizen, is Professor of International Relations and Director of the Center for International Studies at the University of Southern California (PhD, University of Maryland, College Park).
