Mark the 175th birthday of the prime minister who famously declared that the 20th century would belong to Canada.

The Macdonald-Laurier Institute will celebrate the life and legacy of Sir Wilfrid Laurier on Feb. 24, 2016 at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Que.

Attendees will be able to mingle with Ottawa luminaries from business, industry associations, the civil service and politics at a reception and dinner. We’ll cap off the evening with a panel discussion featuring former interim Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, The Honourable Bob Rae, historian Patrice Dutil, and Montreal business leader Michel Kelly-Gagnon.
