Brian, Great video. I’m proud of being able to say I was a part of the Martin reform period and that great budget. It’s worth recalling how far we had to go and the progress that resulted from that single budget (and the willpower in the ensuing years). It was not easy and many individuals in government and outside sacrificed a lot (who can forget the three years of no wage increases!) but the results speak for themselves. Canada was (and still is) in an enviable financial and economic position due to this reform budget. Let’s hope the upcoming budget will show the same resolve.
Cheers, Chris
