Sean Speer and Ian Lee produced a thought-provoking Macdonald-Laurier Institute paper suggesting that health-care reform could be modeled after the recent changes made to child benefits.
Columnist Bill Curry, in an article for the Globe and Mail, explains the details of the Trudeau administration's changes and explores how similar changes might be made to health care.
"The report notes that while Canadians are universally covered for doctor and hospital visits," writes Curry, "Canadians without private coverage must pay out of pocket for a large number of other services like prescription drugs and vision care."
