On November 29, the Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI) launched its National Security Strategy for Canada series with "To Stand on Guard" by Paul Chapin. A veteran of Canada's foreign service and a specialist in international security affairs during more than 25 years with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Chapin takes a systematic, tough and fair-minded look at the key external and internal threats to Canadians, our core values and what we can do to protect ourselves.

MLI Managing Director, Brian Lee Crowley, and Mr. Chapin released the paper at a press conference in Ottawa. Below are links to the audio version of that media event, in both English and French.
